We would like to remind you that as of the end of 2024, part of your claims may become statute-barred. We recommend you to analyse invoices unpaid by your contractors and unexecuted contracts with regard to their limitation period.

The limitation period of claims related to conducting business activity is three years unless a specific provision provides otherwise. The end of the limitation period, however, falls at the last day of a calendar year. This applies except when the limitation period is shorter than two years.

Different (shorter) limitation periods are provided by provisions concerning certain claims under contracts such as: sale agreement, specific task contract, contract of carriage, or contract of forwarding.
