Graduate of the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska, Department of Law and Administration (diploma 2000). Participant of Postgraduate Studies within the European Union Law at the European School of Law and Administration in Warsaw (diploma 2004) and a course in European Law in Brussels. Attorney-at-law registered in the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law.

His main areas of expertise include: company law, civil law, insolvency & debt collection, real estate law, housing communities. Paweł is well experienced in establishment, liquidation and comprehensive legal assistance of entities having foreign equity. Moreover, Paweł co-ordinates legal audits connected with M&A transactions.

Thanks to his long experience in representing clients in insolvency proceedings, Paweł is the head expert in our office in the area of bankruptcy and reorganization law. His clients are, inter alia, companies facing insolvency, receivers, creditors of bankrupt companies or companies facing insolvency, investors intending to acquire assets of insolvent companies. Paweł advises on, inter alia, restructuring of companies and transactions of sale or acquisition of enterprises and real properties of bankrupt companies. Paweł represents his clients, in particular, in:

• proceedings on declaration of bankruptcy,
• proceedings on liquidation of property of the bankrupt,
• proceedings involving a settlement,
• proceedings on recognition of foreign insolvency proceedings in Poland,
• court cases regarding liability of the management board members for the company’s obligations,
• cases regarding decisions on the prohibition to carry out business activity (Article 373 of the Bankruptcy and Reorganisation Law),
• criminal cases related to a company’s bankruptcy.
